Joëlle Maison

Joëlle Maison is a Belgian politician representing the DéFI party. Born in Elsene on January 4, 1968, she earned a law degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles in 1993 and has worked as an attorney in Brussels since the same year. She entered local politics with the former FDF party and has served as a municipal councilor in Uccle since October 1994, previously holding municipal executive responsibilities as an alderman for education, upbringing, and legal affairs between 2006 and 2018. Since May 2014, she has been a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, focusing her parliamentary work on education, mobility, housing, and disability policies.
