Johannes Meier

Johannes Meier is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2023. Born in Nuremberg and raised in Ansbach, he previously worked in the retail sector, including as a regional sales manager. Meier began his political career in local government, serving as the leader of the AfD faction in the Ansbach city council starting in 2020 and as a member of the Middle Franconia district assembly from 2019 to 2023. In the Bavarian state parliament, he is a member of the Committee for Economy, Regional Development, Energy, Media and Digitalization.
