Johannes Schwarz

Johannes Schwarz is an Austrian politician and a long-serving member of the Landtag of Styria, representing the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Born in 1977 in Leoben, he has served in the state parliament since 2005 and has held the position of parliamentary group leader (Klubobmann) since 2014. Throughout his career, he has been active in various party leadership roles, including serving as the state chairman of the Young Generation and as the deputy state party chairman. In 2026, he was elected as the chairman of the SPÖ Graz, further solidifying his influence within the party. He is also recognized for his work as a spokesperson for finance and investments within the SPÖ parliamentary group.
