John Mikulin is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 17th district since 2018. Born and raised in Bethpage, New York, he is an attorney who previously served as the Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Hempstead and as President of the Island Trees Library Board. Mikulin holds a B.A. and M.A. from St. John's University and a J.D. from Touro Law School. He was first elected to the state legislature in a 2018 special election and continues to represent his community in Albany.
