John Paul Mwirigi is a Kenyan politician who serves as the Member of Parliament for Igembe South Constituency. Elected in 2017 at the age of 23, he became the youngest person ever to serve in the Kenyan National Assembly. Running as an independent candidate, Mwirigi gained national attention for his grassroots, door-to-door campaign conducted on foot. Before entering politics, he worked as a manual laborer at a local tea factory and a timber yard to support his education at Mount Kenya University.
