Davis Chirchir is a Kenyan politician and government official currently serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport. Born in 1960 in Kericho, he studied computer science and physics at the University of Nairobi and earned a master's degree in Business Administration in International Management from the Royal Holloway School of Management, University of London. Throughout his career, he has worked as a tele-traffic engineer, a senior manager at Telkom Kenya, and served multiple terms as a cabinet secretary in the ministries of Energy and Petroleum as well as Roads and Transport under administrations led by Presidents Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
