John R. McCravy III

John R. McCravy III is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives for the 13th District since 2016. A member of the Republican Party, he has been a prominent figure in state politics, notably serving as the chairman of the Family Caucus and acting as the primary architect of South Carolina's fetal heartbeat legislation. In addition to his legislative career, McCravy is an attorney and teaches law at Lander University. He comes from a family with a history of public service, being the grandson and great-grandson of former state legislators.
