John Steinbeck

John Steinbeck is an American politician and former firefighter currently serving as a Republican member of the Nevada Senate, representing the 18th district. Born in 1971 in Santa Monica, California, he spent over three decades in the fire service, eventually serving as the fire chief for the Clark County Fire Department from 2020 until his retirement in early 2025. Steinbeck was first elected to the Nevada Senate in 2024, having received the endorsement of Governor Joe Lombardo during his campaign.
