John Williamson

John Williamson is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the riding of Saint John—St. Croix. First elected in 2011, he has held various parliamentary roles, including serving as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Before his political career, Williamson worked as an editorial writer for the National Post and served as the federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. He also held a position as director of communications in the Prime Minister's Office under Stephen Harper. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on fiscal responsibility, natural resource development, and government accountability.
