Jon Husted is an American politician serving as a United States Senator from Ohio since 2025. Previously, he served as the 66th Lieutenant Governor of Ohio from 2019 to 2025 and as the 50th Ohio Secretary of State from 2011 to 2019. His earlier career included serving in the Ohio House of Representatives, where he was Speaker of the House, and in the Ohio Senate. Throughout his career, Husted has focused on election administration, business services, and school choice policies. He is a member of the Republican Party.
