Jon Ossoff

Jon Ossoff is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator from Georgia since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he made history as the first millennial elected to the U.S. Senate and the youngest member of the chamber at the time of his inauguration. Before his election, Ossoff worked as a national security staffer and as the managing director of an investigative television production company focused on documenting international corruption. His political career gained national prominence during his 2017 congressional campaign, followed by his successful 2021 Senate bid, which was instrumental in securing a Democratic majority in the Senate. He is recognized for his focus on investigative oversight and economic policy.
