Jonah Garson

Jonah Garson is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate for the 23rd district since April 2026. A native of Chapel Hill, he holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. Before his appointment to the Senate, Garson worked as an attorney for the New York State Attorney General's office and at the law firm Milbank LLP, and later practiced at Parry Law, PLLC. He also served as the First-Vice Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party from 2023 to 2026.
