Jonas Andersson

Jonas Andersson is a Swedish politician who has served as a member of the Riksdag for the Sweden Democrats since 2018. Born in Eskilstuna, he holds a PhD in political science from Linköping University. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has been a member of the Linköping City Council since 2010 and serves on the regional council in Östergötland. Andersson is also the chairman of the Sweden Democrats in Linköping. In 2018, he faced public scrutiny following reports of controversial comments he had posted on a blog in 2010, for which he subsequently expressed regret and issued a public apology.
