Born in 1994 in Magdeburg, he completed vocational training as an insurance and finance clerk and worked in the insurance industry until 2019. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a staff member for AfD politician Wolfram Keil. Dünzel has been the chairman of the AfD district association in Zwickau since 2023 and also serves as a member of the Zwickau district council.
