Jonas Donizette is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in Monte Belo, Minas Gerais, he began his political career in 1992 as the youngest person elected to the Campinas City Council. He later served as a member of the São Paulo State Assembly before being elected mayor of Campinas in 2012, a position he held until 2020. During his tenure as mayor, he also served as the president of the National Front of Mayors. Throughout his career, he has focused on urban forestry, public health initiatives, and automotive tax reform.
