Jonathan Brash

Jonathan Brash is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Hartlepool since 2024. Before entering national politics, he worked as a private school teacher, serving as Head of Psychology at Yarm School and teaching at Newcastle School for Boys, while also chairing the Hartlepool Sixth Form College. A former local councillor, Brash is associated with the Blue Labour caucus and has been active in parliamentary groups focused on swimming and council tax reform.
