Jong-sik Heo is a South Korean politician currently serving as a two-term member of the National Assembly, representing the Dong-gu and Michuhol-gu Gap constituency in Incheon. Before entering national politics, he worked as a journalist for the Kyunghyang Shinmun and The Hankyoreh, and later served as the Vice Mayor of Incheon for Political and Economic Affairs. Since his election to the 21st National Assembly in 2020, he has been active in committees related to health, welfare, land, transport, and industrial trade. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Korea and continues to focus on regional development and public livelihood issues.
