Jorge Díaz Ibarra is a Chilean politician and lawyer currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 1st District. A member of the Christian Democratic Party, he previously served as the first Regional Governor of the Arica and Parinacota Region from 2021 to 2024. Earlier in his career, he was a Regional Councillor for the province of Arica and held the presidency of the Regional Council. He holds a law degree from the University of Tarapacá and a master's degree in Public Management and Public Policy.
