José Carlos Barbosa

José Carlos Barbosa, professionally known as Barbosinha, is a Brazilian politician and lawyer currently serving as the 11th Vice-Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul. He began his political career at a young age, serving as the mayor of Angélica at 23. Throughout his career, he has held various significant roles, including State Deputy for Mato Grosso do Sul and Secretary of State for Justice and Public Security. Before entering politics, he worked as a banker, lawyer, and university professor, and he also led the Mato Grosso Sanitation Company.
