José Dias Fernandes is a Portuguese-French politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic for the Chega party, representing the Europe constituency. Born in Viana do Castelo, he emigrated to France in the 1970s, where he worked as a businessman for several decades. After a period of political involvement with the CDS – People's Party, he joined Chega in 2020. He unsuccessfully contested the 2022 legislative elections before being elected to the Assembly in 2024.
