Jose Luis Varela

Jose Luis Varela is a Panamanian politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Panama representing the 6-2 circuit in Herrera. He holds a degree in Administration and Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Varela has a long-standing career in the legislature, having previously served as a deputy in the National Assembly from 1994 to 2019. In his current capacity, he is active in parliamentary committees including Foreign Relations and the Credentials, Regulations, Parliamentary Ethics, and Judicial Affairs Committee.
