José Raúl Mulino

José Raúl Mulino is a Panamanian politician, diplomat, and lawyer serving as the President of Panama since July 1, 2024. He previously held high-profile cabinet positions, including Minister of Public Security and Minister of Government and Justice under President Ricardo Martinelli, as well as Minister of Foreign Relations during the administration of Guillermo Endara. Running as the candidate for the Realizing Goals party after Martinelli's disqualification, he won the 2024 presidential election with a platform centered on economic revival, security, and curbing irregular migration through the Darién Gap.
