Jose Solache

José Luis Solache is an American politician currently serving as a member of the California State Assembly for the 62nd district, a position he has held since 2024. Born in Bellflower and raised in Lynwood, California, he began his political career on the Lynwood School Board in 2003 before serving on the Lynwood City Council from 2013 to 2024, where he also served as mayor. A member of the Democratic Party, Solache has focused his legislative efforts on issues such as college tuition affordability, public safety, and after-school programs. He holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of Southern California.
