Josef Lausch is a German politician and entrepreneur who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since October 2023. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a municipal councilor in Großkarolinenfeld starting in 2008 and as a member of the Rosenheim district council since 2002. An expert in renewable energy, he founded a biogas consultancy firm in 2009 and also works as a part-time farmer. Lausch is also recognized for his extensive volunteer work, including long-term service with the Tattenhausen volunteer fire department and as a former honorary judge at the Munich Administrative Court.
