Roland Weigert

Roland Weigert is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Bavaria, representing the constituency of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen. He previously served as the State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy from 2018 to 2023. Before his tenure in the state government, he was the District Administrator (Landrat) of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen for ten years. Weigert, who holds a degree in economics and organizational sciences, began his career in the German Air Force and later worked in regional administration. He currently chairs the Committee for Municipal Affairs, Internal Security and Sports in the Bavarian Landtag.
