Josef Ofner is an Austrian politician serving as a member of the Carinthia Landtag since 2023 and as the mayor of Hüttenberg since 2009. A member of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), he previously served as a member of the Austrian Federal Council from 2018 to 2023. Before his full-time political career, Ofner worked as a military musician and in the cultural department of the Carinthian state government. He is also active in local musical associations and holds the position of General Secretary of the FPÖ in Carinthia.
