Nicole Sunitsch is an Austrian politician and member of the National Council, representing the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Born in 1979 in Judenburg, she previously served as a prison officer in Graz-Karlau and Leoben, eventually rising to the rank of department commander. Her political career began at the local level in Sankt Michael, where she served as a municipal councilor and party chair before being elected mayor in 2025. In 2024, she was elected to the Austrian National Council via the Styria state constituency. Beyond her political duties, she is also an author who writes poetry reflecting on her life and experiences.
