Michelle Whitfield is an Austrian politician and member of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) who has served as a member of the Burgenland Landtag since February 2025. Born in Clinton, Oklahoma, she moved to Austria in 1990 and later graduated from the Higher Technical College for Fashion and Clothing Technology in Wiener Neustadt. Before entering politics, she worked as an English teacher and language trainer, eventually establishing her own language school in 2019. Her political career includes serving as a municipal councilor in Rust and as the chairwoman of the Freedom Women's Ring in Burgenland. In the Landtag, she acts as a spokesperson for finance, budget, economy, education, research, and women's affairs.
