Josefine Paul is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 1999, she has served as a state parliamentarian since 2010 and previously acted as the parliamentary group leader for her party. From 2022 to 2026, she served as the Minister for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Flight and Integration in the cabinet of Hendrik Wüst. She resigned from her ministerial post in January 2026 following public criticism regarding her crisis management after the Solingen terror attack. Paul has announced she will not seek re-election in the 2027 state election.
