Tarek Al-Wazir is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2025, representing the Offenbach electoral district. A long-standing member of the Green Party, he previously served as the Deputy Minister-President of Hesse and as the Hessian Minister of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development from 2014 to 2024. Throughout his career, Al-Wazir has been a prominent figure in Hessian state politics, having served in the Landtag of Hesse since 1995 and acting as a key negotiator for the state's first Black-Green coalition government.
