Joseph Polletta

Joseph Polletta is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 68th district. Born in Waterbury and raised in Oakville, Connecticut, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Fairfield University. Before his election to the state legislature in a 2017 special election, Polletta served on the Watertown Town Council and worked as a community liaison for Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty. During his tenure in the House, he has held leadership roles on the Labor and Public Employees Committee and the Housing Committee.
