Angie Nixon

Angie Nixon is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2020. A native of Jacksonville, she is a graduate of the University of Florida and has worked as a community organizer and advocate for small businesses, including co-founding the Melanin Market. Nixon is known for her progressive stance on social issues, including her advocacy for educational equity and her vocal opposition to state-level redistricting efforts. She currently serves as a director for the Florida Public Service Union's Higher Education Campaign and is a candidate for the 2026 United States Senate special election in Florida.
