Joshua Boschee

Joshua Boschee is an American politician currently serving as the Mayor of Fargo, North Dakota, having been elected to the position in June 2026. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served in the North Dakota State Legislature, representing the 44th District in the House of Representatives starting in 2012 and later in the North Dakota Senate. A member of the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party, Boschee made history as the first openly gay candidate elected to the state legislature in North Dakota. Before entering politics, he was an employee of Minnesota State University Moorhead.
