Joshua Meggers

Joshua Meggers is an American politician and state trooper who has served as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for the 54th district since 2023. Born in Cedar Falls and raised in Buckingham, Iowa, he earned a bachelor's degree in criminology from Upper Iowa University. In addition to his legislative duties, where he serves as vice chair of the Labor & Workforce Committee, Meggers has been a member of the Iowa State Patrol since 2005. His political priorities include public education, corporate tax reduction, and support for the Second Amendment.
