Jozef Rakicky

Jozef Rakicky is a German politician of Slovak descent who has served as a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony since 2022. A neurologist by profession, he previously held positions as a medical director and chief physician at various clinics in Germany. Rakicky began his political career in local government, serving as a district councilor in Helmstedt and a council member in Velpke and Bahrdorf. Originally elected to the state parliament as a member of the AfD, he left the party and its parliamentary group in 2024, subsequently joining the Werteunion. His tenure has been marked by his involvement in local politics and his transition from the AfD to the Werteunion.
