
Judith Seidman

Judith Seidman is a Canadian medical researcher and politician who served as a member of the Senate of Canada from 2009 until her mandatory retirement in 2025. An epidemiologist and social worker by profession, she has extensive experience as a researcher and adviser in the health and social services sectors. Prior to her appointment to the Senate, she was active in federal politics, notably serving as the Quebec co-chair for Stephen Harper's 2004 leadership campaign. She represented the province of Quebec during her tenure in the Senate.
