Juliane Unterberger

Juliane Unterberger is an Italian politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. A representative of the South Tyrolean People's Party, she has held the position of president of the 'Per le Autonomie' parliamentary group since 2018. Previously, she served as a councilor for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and as president of the Provincial Council. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for the protection of the German language and the autonomy statutes of the South Tyrol region.
