Julian Cyr is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts Senate, representing the Cape and Islands district since his election in 2016. A native of Truro, Massachusetts, Cyr previously worked on policy and regulatory affairs for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and served as the chair of the Massachusetts Commission on LGBT Youth. He is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he completed a program for senior executives in state and local government. Throughout his tenure in the state senate, he has focused on public health and regional policy issues.
