Julie Morrison

Julie Morrison is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois Senate representing the 29th district. Born in Beardstown, Illinois, she graduated from Knox College with a degree in political science. Before her legislative career, she worked for the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America and served on the Advisory Council for the Department of Children and Family Services. She later served as the West Deerfield Township Supervisor from 1997 until her election to the Illinois Senate in 2012. In the Senate, she has held leadership roles on various committees, including those focused on health, appropriations, and environmental conservation.
