Elected as the Mayor of Seocho District in 2022 and re-elected in 2026, he is recognized for his focus on administrative innovation, including the establishment of the Yangje AI Special Zone and the promotion of smart city initiatives. He holds a doctorate in public administration from the University of Seoul.
