Jo Jung-hoon is a South Korean politician and former international development expert currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Mapo-gu Gap. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career at the World Bank, where he served as a representative for Uzbekistan and worked on various international economic development projects in countries including Nigeria, Kosovo, and Palestine. He founded the Transition Korea party in 2020 and was first elected to the National Assembly as a proportional representative. In 2023, he joined the People Power Party, subsequently winning his seat in the 2024 general election. His legislative work has focused on education, regional development, and economic policy.
