Park Jeong-hyun is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing the Daedeok District of Daejeon. Before her election to the National Assembly in 2024, she served as the head of Daedeok District from 2018 to 2022, becoming the first female head of a basic local government in Daejeon. Her career began in civil society, where she held leadership roles in organizations such as the Daejeon YMCA and the Daejeon Chungnam Green Korea United. Throughout her political career, she has been a member of the Daejeon Metropolitan Council and has held various leadership positions within the Democratic Party of Korea, including serving as a Supreme Council member and the head of the party's Daejeon City Committee.
