Justin J. Pearson is an American politician and activist serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 86th district. Born in Memphis, he gained national prominence as a co-founder of the environmental group Memphis Community Against Pollution, which successfully blocked the Byhalia Pipeline. After being elected in 2023, he became known as one of the 'Tennessee Three' following his temporary expulsion from the legislature for participating in a gun control protest. Pearson advocates for environmental justice, stricter gun safety laws, and economic reform, and is currently a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives.
