Mitch Gore

Mitch Gore is an American politician and corrections officer currently serving as a Democratic member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 89th district. Born in Indianapolis, he attended Franklin Central High School and the University of Indianapolis. In addition to his legislative duties, Gore serves as a captain with the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Since taking office in 2020, he has authored legislation addressing public safety, including laws to ban glock switches, create an alert system for missing at-risk veterans, and increase penalties for chemical intoxicants in prison.
