K. C. Veerendra Puppy

K. C. Veerendra Puppy is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Chitradurga constituency. He was elected in the 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election as a candidate for the Indian National Congress. In August 2025, he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an investigation into illegal online and offline betting operations. Although he was granted bail in December 2025, subsequent legal filings by the Enforcement Directorate have alleged that the proceeds of the criminal activities linked to him exceeded ₹2,300 crore.
