K. P. Sharma Oli

K. P. Sharma Oli is a prominent Nepalese politician who served three terms as the Prime Minister of Nepal between 2015 and 2025. A long-time leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), he has been a central figure in Nepalese politics since the 1990s, known for his nationalist stance, particularly regarding relations with India and China. His career has been marked by significant controversy, including accusations of corruption and authoritarianism, as well as his role in constitutional disputes and the dissolution of parliament. He was a member of the House of Representatives representing Jhapa 5 until his departure from government in 2025.
