Kahar Muzakir is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) for the 2024–2029 term. A long-standing member of the Golkar Party, he has represented the South Sumatra II electoral district in the House of Representatives (DPR RI) for five consecutive terms since 2004. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held significant leadership roles, including serving as the Chairman of the Budget Committee and as a member of the House Ethics Council.
