Kalan Haywood II is an American politician and activist serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 16th district since 2019. Elected at age 19, he became the second-youngest person ever elected to the Wisconsin Legislature and currently serves as the assistant minority leader. Before his legislative career, he was president of the City of Milwaukee Youth Council and worked as a non-profit consultant. He is currently pursuing a finance degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
