Kamzy Gunaratnam is a Norwegian politician and a member of the Storting, representing the Labour Party. Born in Sri Lanka, she arrived in Norway as a refugee at age three and later studied social geography at the University of Oslo. Gunaratnam previously served as the deputy mayor of Oslo from 2015 to 2021 and is a survivor of the 2011 Utøya massacre. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for ethnic, political, and religious diversity, as well as a campaigner against online hate speech and racism.
