Yoshihiro Seki is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, currently representing the Hyogo 3rd district. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, he has held several government positions, including State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and State Minister of the Environment. Seki is a graduate of Kwansei Gakuin University and previously worked at Sumitomo Bank. Politically, he is known for his conservative stances, including support for constitutional amendment and opposition to the introduction of selective separate surnames for married couples. In 2024, he was involved in a political funding scandal regarding the Liberal Democratic Party's factional kickbacks, for which he received a formal reprimand.
